It sounds like a fairy tale: Cossa Fady (above) as leader and the other inhabitants of a small village in Guinea Bissau transformed devasteted salty soils into fertile rice fields.
The know how about they have got from their compatriots of the "Ballantes" tribe, who are well known in the region as the very rice cultivating specialists. This interaction was empowered by the NGO «SWISSAID».
